    Description
This course is an introduction to the world's mythology and its relationship to everyday life. It investigates cross-cultural patterns of myths: gods and goddesses of earth and sky, hunt and harvest; the cycle of the hero; the creation, destruction, and renewal of the world; myths as potent forces today in literature and the arts as well as in everyday life.
