    Description
    Students are introduced to the fundamental elements and compositional principles of drawing. Lecture and studio practice focuses on observational skills, technical abilities and creative approaches in a variety of media, tools and techniques. Topics include studying the elements and principles of drawing, including line, shape, value, linear and atmospheric perspective, texture, proportion, balance, unity and variety.
