Students will learn about the factors and stakeholders who influence policy that support more sustainable and healthy communities. The goal is to understand how the processes of technology, industry, government, and citizen engagement influence policymaking. Students will learn how political institutions, market-driven activities, and information data often clash in the jockeying for natural and societal resources.
