Students will be introduced to the basic theories and methods of social science disciplines and how their contributions facilitate our understanding of the social and cultural worlds humans inhabit and the problems experienced by contemporary societies. This course also exposes students to the concepts and techniques that are used in social science research and in career choices available to students pursuing a degree in the social sciences.
