Building on the foundation laid in Italian 2, this intermediate-level course emphasizes the essentials of Italian grammar and composition, while expanding cultural awareness. By the end of the course, students will confidently express themselves using the indicative, conditional, and subjunctive moods, while also exploring the passive voice. They will engage with Italian literature, broaden their vocabulary, and discuss contemporary Italian society, the evolution of the Italian language, and the diverse lifestyles, traditions, and dialects that define Italy's regional identities. Additionally, students will delve into current events and cultural trends, deepening their understanding of Italy's role in both European and global contexts.
