    This course is a historical survey of the United States, from Indigenous North America to the end of Reconstruction. The course also introduces students to historical reasoning skills. Note: Students may take either History C1001 or History C1001H. Duplicate credit will not be awarded. Note: The maximum UC credit allowed for students completing History C1001 and C1002 and History 110 and 111 and/or History 105 and 106 is one series.
