    This course is the first in a sequence of four levels of contemporary modern dance. It focuses on the development of dance skills through contemporary modern dance movement, emphasizing combinations on the floor and standing or traveling through space. Creative expression is included through exploration of dance skills. Attendance is required at selected dance events. Note: Letter grade or pass/no pass option.
