In the laboratory, emphasis is on observations, measurements, and elementary quantitative experiments with an introduction to qualitative analysis. Note: The maximum UC credit allowed for students completing Chemistry 4 and CHEM 20 is one course. Students will not receive UC credit for Chemistry 4 if taken after CHEM 1A .
