This course is intended for Spanish speakers who have grown speaking Spanish but have not formally studied it in an academic setting. Students are introduced to Spanish grammar and spelling rules with a focus on reading and writing skills and vocabulary expansion. Students practice the four language skills in the context of the geography, customs, and cultures of the Spanish-speaking countries and of the Latino experience in the United States. No prerequisites.
