    Description
This course provides a basic understanding of the concepts, theories, and practical experience for working in the Social Work and Human Services field. Students complete a 54-hour field placement at a community service agency outside of the class. Students are assessed on their participation in these field placements (e.g., child abuse prevention, sexual assault, elderly services, primary and secondary education, homelessness, and/or suicide prevention) and the application of course material as it relates to their fieldwork.
