    Description
    Bio-Medical ethics is vital to all, as it helps sharpen our strategies and equip us with the tools to deal with issues like health pandemics, infant/maternal mortality, organ transplants, reproduction policies, genetic engineering, assisted suicide. This course critically surveys and examines, both from local and global perspectives, some of bio-medical moral problems that surround us today; it exposes students to current case studies, research, and theories offered by expert philosophers, jurists, biologists, legal theorists, healthcare professionals in the field of Bio-Medical ethics. Students examine ethical theories and issues as it relates to their lives and in the context of social justice, diversity, and equity.
