Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis intermediate course builds on the skills and techniques learned in Introduction to Digital Media Production. More advanced film/video cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, as well as cinematography, and aesthetics, are covered. Camera support such as Steadicam and drones are introduced, as are advanced editing and post-production techniques such as effects, time remapping, color correction, and nonlinear storytelling. Formats such as feature films, television series, documentaries, and reality TV are explored. This course uses project-based hands-on learning to prepare students for entry-level work in production and post-production for news and entertainment.
