Transfers ToCSUDescriptionIn this entry-level course, students engage with essen- tial concepts and tools for the equitable and responsible management of personal resources. We explore house- holds' diverse financial decisions throughout their life cycles, emphasizing budgeting, record keeping, consumer purchasing, credit management, home ownership, insur- ance, investing, retirement planning, and estate plan- ning. Particular attention is given to cultural sensitivities regarding banking practices and investment opportuni- ties, recognizing that financial systems can differ widely across communities. This course aims to foster an inclu- sive understanding of financial literacy, acknowledg- ing the unique circumstances and challenges faced by Business Administration Department individuals and families from various backgrounds and empowering them to make informed financial choices that respect their cultural values and priorities.
