    Description
    This course prepares students to take the naturalization examination. This course introduces adult learners to U.S. history and government and promotes civic participa- tion. This course covers U.S. geography, the branches of government, and federal, state, and local governments. Students are introduced to strategies for community and civic engagement. Topics discussed include current events, interview and test-taking strategies, and appro- priate English writing and speaking skills. Naturalization forms, documents, and eligibility requirements and regu- lations are explained. Note: This course can be offered in Spanish/Este curso se puede ofrecer en Espa�ol.
