    Description
Students engage in a multidisciplinary examination of how culture, society, economic systems, legal frameworks, international relations, political environments, financial institutions, and human behavior interact to shape a business organization's policies and practices within the U.S. and global society. By highlighting diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion (DEAI), the course will demonstrate how these influences impact key areas of business-- including organizational structure, leadership, human resource management, risk management, ethics, marketing, and entrepreneurship--highlighting how they affect a business's ability to achieve its organizational goals while promoting social responsibility and equitable practices.
