Transfers ToCSUCSU GE Area C1DescriptionThis is an introductory and integrative course in the ceramic arts. A variety of techniques will be covered as it relates to hand building, wheel throwing, glazing and firing. A thorough understanding of these processes will be developed as well as the beginnings of a personal aesthetic through discussion and hands on interaction with the material. NOTE: Expectant mothers are advised against enrolling in this course due to exposure to chemicals known to the State of California to cause birth defects.
