    This course presents a survey of adolescent development and the psychological challenges faced by adolescents. Topics include adolescent values and attitudes; adolescent self-concept, self-esteem and identity; adolescent sex-role socialization; parent and family influence on adolescent socialization and peer group influence on adolescent development.
