    Description
    This course presents methods of fabrication for projects in metal, wood, plastic, and other materials and includes an introduction to shop safety. The use of hand tools, power tools and an introduction to computer controlled tools such as laser cutters and computer numerical control (CNC) routers is also covered. The course introduces the principles necessary to fabricate parts, components, and prototypes for a variety of technical applications.
