    Description
    This class develops the knowledge and skills needed to work as a manager or supervisor in the wholesale or retail plant nursery industry. The range of topics include the staging and marketing of plants, nursery development and infrastructure, staff management, and customer care in winter and spring. Included are hands-on activities such as potting plants, pruning, staging, soil testing, and pest scouting, and reinforcing theoretical concepts.
