    Description
    This course is a survey of the history of California from pre-conquest to the present.The course highlights California Constitutions, the formation and growth of state and local governments, and the unique social, political, economic and cultural forces that spurred the development of modern California. Topics will include the role of Native People, immigration, geography, war, and natural resources in the formation of a vibrant and multicultural California.
