- This course provides an introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as a tool for spatial analysis. GIS concepts, techniques and methodologies are covered and laboratory activities are used to reinforce lecture concepts. The course provides preparation for advanced university level courses in spatial analysis or for entry level positions in GIS-related fields.
