    Description
This course will provide students with advanced instruction on how to program and operate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines. Students in this class will build upon prior knowledge from foundational manual and CNC machining experience. Learners will prototype and manufacture parts on DVC’s CNC mills, CNC lathes, and 5-axis tables. The course includes programing with CAD/CAM software, fixturing materials, operating CNC machines, and creating precision parts. Students within this program can be employed in a variety of manufacturing-related fields such as production machining, engineering, industrial design, prototyping, fabrication, and quality control.
