    Description
    This course introduces practical and theoretical aspects of advanced machine tool processes, focusing on lathe and vertical milling machine operations. Topics include precision measuring and inspection practices, surface grinding, special work holding devices, and mechanical hardware. An introduction to Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT) and properties of materials associated with machinability, heat treating, and hardness testing is provided.
