    Description
    This course is a survey of young adult literature of different literary genres and from different cultures. The course examines young adult literature from various time periods and geographical and cultural points of reference. Additionally, this course analyzes the ways historical, social, psychological, philosophical, and aesthetic forces shape young adult literature. The distinguishing elements of different literary genres and methods used to analyze literature of any genre will also be covered.
