- This course introduces students to the principles of effective tutoring with a focus on literature and creative writing. The class will explore the role of the tutor, students’ needs for successful completion of literature and creative-writing assignments, and equitable and current tutoring practices with an emphasis on fostering independent learning. Tutoring across modalities will also be covered.
