- This course introduces students to the principles of effective tutoring with a focus on grammar concepts for non-native English speakers. The class will explore the role of the tutor, non-native speakers’ grammar needs for successful completion of composition and reading assignments, and equitable and current tutoring practices with an emphasis on fostering independent learning. Campus resources and tutoring across modalities will also be covered.
