- This course introduces students to the principles of effective tutoring with a focus on composition and reading. The class will explore the role of the tutor, common reading and writing challenges, and equitable and current tutoring practices with an emphasis on fostering independent learning. Campus resources and tutoring across modalities will also be covered.
