    Description
    In this course, students receive instruction in academic reading and writing, including writing processes, effective use of language, analytical thinking, and the foundations of academic research. Rhetorical strategies, strengthening linguistic monitors, and grammar concepts specific to the needs of multilingual students who do not speak English as their primary language are emphasized.
