    This course is an introduction to different engineering disciplines and careers, the role of an engineer in society, engineering ethics, the engineering approach to problem-solving, engineering design process and project development, engineering analysis, concurrent engineering, and application of computers in engineering including design and presentation tools. The emphasis is on hands-on creative problem-solving, teamwork, and effective communication. Students will develop design, analysis, and computer skills through work on projects drawn from various engineering majors.
