- This course is an overview of the basic principles of economics, including both microeconomics and macroeconomics. Concepts such as supply and demand, market structures, resource markets, economic growth, and business cycles, fiscal policy and the national debt, the Federal Reserve System, monetary policy, and international trade are introduced.
