    Description
    This course will explore the theory and practice of the fundamentals of acting. The history and implementation of the Method of Physical Actions introduced by Konstantin Stanislavski will be explored, and students will apply these principles to evaluating historic play productions, and scene work in class. Students will create characters based on these principles and learn to identify and demonstrate the critical components of the Stanislavski training methodology for the stage.
