- This course is the first in a series of four courses focused on dental hygiene skill development in clinical practice. Students will work with typodonts and student partners to develop instrumentation skills with an emphasis on safety for the client as well as the clinician. Clinical experiences in assessment procedures related to comprehensive dental hygiene care will also be addressed.
