- This intermediate-level, hand-built ceramics course focuses on the progressive refinement of hand-built techniques with an emphasis on surface treatment. This involves the study of hand-built forms and surface from various western and non-western cultures and the creation of original hand-built ceramics with an emphasis on developing unique surfaces.
