    This intermediate-level, wheel-thrown pottery course focuses on the development of functional pottery forms for the production potter. The study of the art of various cultures, the fundamentals of three-dimensional design, and the development of a vocabulary of aesthetic terms and theories will be addressed. Students will engage in both critical discussion and creative application utilizing the potter's wheel to develop a line of functional pottery forms.
