- This is an intermediate course in documentary photography. Topics include the definition, historical precedents, and techniques of image making in documentary photography. The emphasis is on social practice, narrative, and storytelling. This course is appropriate for students in art, journalism, and communication. Students should have a working knowledge of film or digital camera operation.
