    Description
This course is designed to further the exploration of relief printmaking, which has a long history in both Western and Eastern printmaking. Students with foundational knowledge in woodblock printing will be introduced to the Japanese woodblock method "mokuhanga," which is famous for its beauty, dynamic composition, and technical superiority. In addition, letterpress printing will be explored for additional techniques such as wood engraving.
