    Description
    This course presents a survey of world architecture and urbanism from the 18th Century to the present. The social, cultural, and physical conditions that influence the built environment of Europe, Asia, and the Americas will be explored. Topics include American architectural contributions of Frank Lloyd Wright and the Chicago School of Architecture, Art Nouveau and the work of Gaudi, the influence of industrialization in architecture as well as topics in Russian Constructivism, 20th Century Modernism, Post-modernism and Deconstructivism.
