Students will examine elements of dramatic art form and play production, including dramatic theory, language, space, plot, characterization, technical theatre, acting, directing, playwriting, design, and the relationship with other art forms. The course includes drama written from diverse cultural and historical perspectives. Attendance at assigned performances required.
