Students are offered an interdisciplinary view of the history of globalization and its impacts through an examination of social, cultural, political, economic, and ecological contexts. The course emphasizes the interdependence and connections between global institutions, populations, and individuals using a multidisciplinary lens and highlighting the idea of global citizenship and the multiple sides of the theory of globalization.
