The diversity of literature produced in both Northern and Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America (including Brazil and the Caribbean), and various contemporary diasporas around the globe will be covered. The historically asynchronous approach investigates shared literary movements across national, linguistic, religious, and other social strata.
