- This course is an orientation to college for first-time college students. It includes De Anza's academic policies, resources, campus programs, and services; transition concerns from high school to post-secondary education for students requiring special classroom accommodations related to disabilities; the California system of higher education; educational goals and program planning. This course satisfies the college orientation requirement for new students.
