- This is a survey of human anatomy and physiology with emphasis on the homeostatic limits of the human body. Topics to be discussed include a basic introduction and body organization, the chemical basis of life, the cell and its metabolism, tissues, and the skin. <br /> (This course is especially suited for students planning careers in medical assisting, Licensed Vocational Nursing, education, speech, home economics, psychology, physical education, or recreation.)
