It is an introduction to the 5th field of anthropology, providing students with methods, theories and skills to help understand and solve issues arising as a result of culture change, culture conflict, modernization and globalization. Major areas of study will include medical anthropology, development anthropology, anthropology and healthcare, anthropology and advocacy, anthropology and law, organizational and business anthropology, educational anthropology, public anthropology and cultural resource management.
