- This course prepares students for the demands of college reading in academic subjects. Emphasis is placed on critical reading, critical thinking and study-learning strategies, which facilitate optimum learning in content area classes. Textbook selections and scholarly essays will be analyzed. Pass/No Pass/Letter Grade Option. (AA GE, RDG)
