Transfers ToCSUDescriptionTerm Hours 31.5 lecture and 94.5 Laboratory This course prepares the student to apply quality and safety standards utilizing the nursing process based in the science and art of nursing. Students will develop nursing care strategies for complex family centered care of the pediatric population within multiple interdisciplinary settings. Evidence-based nursing interventions encompassing a holistic approach will be developed. The student will apply growth and development concepts to the care of multiple patients, utilizing informatics and effective therapeutic and professional communication.
