Transfers ToCSUDescriptionExploration of the importance and value of science and mathematics in programs for young children. Students will examine and apply theories, methods and materials to facilitate children's understanding and appreciation for the concepts of math and science with an emphasis on problem-solving skills and strategies. Includes California Preschool Foundations for Mathematics and Science and the construction and presentation of appropriate materials for young children, including children with special needs.
