    Description
    Provides opportunities to connect academic curricula to experiential learning in the workplace as an internship, Service Learning placement or general employment. Allows students to develop and work on learning objectives in essential job search skills, workplace competencies, and technical skills relevant for their course of study and career pathway. Includes modules on job search skills, workplace competencies, and experiential learning strategies as well as participation in group discussions, representing one lecture unit, and must work 54 hours for each additional unit of credit earned, in half-unit increments (27 hours). Students may earn a maximum of 4 units for Work Experience in addition to the lecture unit. Employment can be paid or unpaid.
