    Description
    Designed to prepare the licensed vocational nurse (LVN) for entry into the 2nd semester of an associate degree nursing (ADN) program. Emphasizes planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing process. Assessment of nursing competencies expected of the graduate ADN, including critical thinking skills, review of medical-surgical nursing, pharmacology, and medication calculations to prepare the student for success in an ADN program.
