- Provides students the opportunity for further experience and independence in mathematical research, either continuing research begun in Math 290 or starting a new research topic. Includes finding relevant journal articles, working on open problems in mathematics, writing up research results using an industry standard typesetting program, and finding opportunities to have original work published or disseminated.
