Transfers ToCSUDescriptionProvides an opportunity to introduce and develop the basic lifesaving skills necessary to successfully serve as a lifeguard. Includes discussion and practice of lifeguard skills, including assessment of an emergency situation, rescue techniques, first aid, CPR/AED, and the use of emergency equipment. Qualifies students who successfully pass written and practical exams to be certified for an American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
